"I think I was the only foreigner among you and at the beginning I was thinking it's really tough to chill with local people in their own country, but on the way back I was sitting in a car full of friends! Just wanted to thank you guys for an exceptional memory you made for me. I hope in next trips we can see each other again" - Mahdi

Maputo

Maputo, formerly named Lourenço Marques until 1976, is the capital, and largest city of Mozambique. Located near the southern end of the country, it is within 120 kilometres of the borders with Eswatini and South Africa.

The city is bustling with cultural spaces , from Markets to Museums , art galleries and an epic nightlife experience.

Here we spend 3 days so we can get to know the city, try different cuisine and have the opportunity to do some shopping, dance with the locals and maybe learn a little bit of Portuguese.

Snorkeling

There is plenty to do on Mozambican beaches other than just swimming.

Here you get the chance to swim with some fish.

Inhanca Island, about 18 miles off Maputo, is home to the closest snorkeling spots to the capital city. Its west coast is bordered by a coral reef, which can be explored during boat trips or, for very good swimmers, from Praia do Coral. The distance between the reef and the beach is about 500m

Boat cruise

For those not into swimming or having fun with fish, you too can enjoy the waters of Maputo in a different way.

Put on something bright and beautiful and brace yourself to enjoy a refreshing boat cruise on a peaceful and beautiful beach while sipping on something nice and cold and enjoying views from Inhaca island to Maputo and neighboring islands.

Inhaca

Inhaca Island is a subtropical island of Mozambique off the East African coast.

Beautiful island ,friendly people and getting there and back on the ferry is an adventure .lovely beaches and good restaurants.
It luxuriates in an archetypal tropical island atmosphere, with a couple of good beaches, a mangrove-lined north coast and brightly coloured reefs off the west coast. The main tourist focus is Inhaca village, a tiny settlement dominated by a centre dotted with bars. The beach directly in front of the lodges is an interesting place to sit and watch the boats as the sun goes down.

Unwind

with a sunset like you have never seen before, if you are an outdoor person this is for you.

Enjoy the cool breeze of the Indian ocean , put some shades on, sit back and relax to the cool sounds of Portuguese beasts while watching the sunset  . there's no need to hurry back indoors because the island lights up like magic after dark with a set up that will make you feel like you were in a movie.

Maybe bring a piece of jewelry, just incase the mood inspires you to make a bold move ;)
